Happy Halloween!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Halloween!

"Do you see what my Mom has me wearing? She has got to be joking!"

"Alright, this is a little better."

"ROWR!"

Stressed!

I'm so stressed today! My baby has spoiled me and the first (almost) 3 months of his life he has been such a calm and content baby. I'm not even joking when I tell you the only time he would cry was when he needed something and as soon as he got it he stopped. He had never cried because he wanted to be held or was just in an off mood and he certainly has never cried for longer than a minute. A little over a week ago my husband left on deployment and he must have taken our son with him and replaced him with a look-a-like. Cor.ben has been fussy and grumpy. He cries when he needs a nap and makes little whimpers until he falls asleep, he cries to be held and wants almost constant attention, he had been almost consistently sleeping through the night and now he wakes up to have his pacifier or be repositioned. Last night he woke up from every half hour to hour. He didn't stay awake long, but all of the getting out of bed has me exhausted today. To top it off he has been fussing and crying ALL DAY LONG! Nothing is soothing him for very long and my heart is just screaming "What do you want! Please tell me!". I have a midterm on Monday that I desperately need to study for. My nerves are absolutely fried and I just want to cry so bad. I also feel really bad for him because he obviously needs something and I don't know what it is and he's feeling emotionally bad too. I wish I could make him feel better. All of my friends are telling me that even though he's so little he's missing his daddy. This makes my heart hurt. I pray that this time of transition will pass by quickly and that I will get my sweet little boy back. Oh... and of course I pray that I ace my midterm :)

Baby Items I Love

I absolutely LOVE my grass drying rack. It's much more pleasing to the eye than my previous drying rack and it doesn't leak water everywhere. I also love Born Free glass bottles. I was using A.vent bottles before and they are great, but with Cor.ben's reflux the Born Free bottles are better.

I also love this Bri.ght Sta.rts giraffe. I think I love it even more than Cor.ben! And of course I love my Chi.cco travel system.

I recently got the Mommy Hook and I'm so glad that I did. It's awesome! It allows you to clip your diaper bag or purse to your stroller or grocery cart. It also makes carrying several bags at once a breeze!

One of my favorites is my new diaper bag from 3.1 Gifts. It isn't listed as a diaper bag, but works great as one. It's the Retr.o Metr.o bag.

Who doesn't love a Bum.bo!?!?

I love my bum.genius cloth diapers and my planet wise diaper pail liners and wet bags. Even if you don't cloth diaper you will find plenty of uses for their adorable wet bags. You can use it to store soiled clothes in when you're out and about or just use it as an accessory bag for the loose items in your diaper bag.

Obviously soap and water is always best, but when you drop your baby's pacifier or toy, and traditional cleaning methods aren't available, these pacifier wipes are great. They're made with FDA food-grade ingredients.

Last, but not least, I love Cor.ben's bouncer. This isn't the fanciest model available (there's one by the same manufacturer that I would love that auto bounces), but it's really comfortable, it's in a reasonable price range, it gives me a place to set him down when I need to do something, and Cor.ben loves the vibration, music, and the toy bar.

Tummy Time

My little man is getting so strong! He can now push his upper body completely up when he's on his tummy and locks his legs to stand up when he's on our laps! I need to get some pictures of that, but here are some shots of our tummy time today. Mmmm I love this little mushmush!

I love...........

........little baby pajamas... and getting to wake up to this precious face everyday. Thank you Lord! That is all :)

Our First Family Trip

Today we had our first road trip as a family of three. We didn't go too far, but it was still fun and it was such a beautiful day.
